To be completely honest, I was hesitant to try this nursing bra. I love my soft, stretchy nursing bras so much, that the second I put anything on that is structured, I want to rip it off. 6 years of pregnancy and breastfeeding will make you value comfort above all. Then I had the opportunity to try the New Buttercup nursing bra. All of my fears about “real” bras were laid to rest. Now, I will say that I prefer my body silk seamless to the buttercup-but, the buttercup offers some things that my other bras do not offer. It is offering me more shape and does not feel like a nursing bra. It has the structure of an underwire, with NO underwire. Yet, it is still very soft. This is a bra that I like to wear to work and when I’m out and about. I look amazing under clothing and gives my girls the little boost they need to give shape to my body in a positive way. (We all know that some bras just don’t work for that date night, or work meeting). I think this is an excellent bra for working and breastfeeding mothers!
Things to note:
The band was tight on me when I first wore it-and then I realized it came with a band extender. It fits perfectly now. I always seem to have better luck sizing up in the Bravado sizes with band than what I actually measure.
The website has an excellent video on how to take your measurements. Here is the link!
I had no idea this bra also turns into a racerback, ummmm what? Totally awesome which is perfect for summertime and doesn’t limit your choice of clothing as much as with other bras.
This bra also comes in wide range of sizing so it can work from small and large busted moms. Sizes include 32B to 38H to 42F
One of the coolest things though I must say is this-
Bravado has partnered with breasthealth.org to help ensure that every young woman is aware of her breast health and the significant contribution that breastfeeding can make in reducing breast cancer occurrence.
Bravado will be contributing all net proceeds from the limited edition Watercolor Buttercup Nursing Bra (up to a maximum contribution of $25,000) to Breasthealth.org. Let me know what you think. I've attached an image of the bra below
